To attract new colleagues for the HVDC Service division at the Mannheim site, Hitachi Energy relied on the video production expertise of agency awikom. The goal was to authentically address potential applicants, provide insights into day-to-day work, and make the meaningfulness of the role tangible.

Employer branding with video content that works

Three Hitachi Energy employees stood in front of the camera in the awikom greenscreen studio. In short, authentic testimonials, they shared what makes their work special: from responsible projects and international team spirit to their contribution to the energy transition.

The result:

To complement the video content, the awikom team created platform-optimized PDF posts in document format. These supported the campaign with:

Another component was a hands-on LinkedIn training session as part of the Hitachi Energy Service Summit. Around 60 employees received practical tips on how to:

  • share posts and videos strategically,
  • increase reach through likes, comments, and reposts.

This meant that not only content was produced, but the workforce was also activated to act as multipliers and strengthen employer branding from within the team.
